Releasing their new album following a three year tour, Doolin have given fans new music as of the beginning of March with a collection of original songs. The album entitled ‘Circus Boy’ has been released on all major streaming platforms and can be listened to in full.
This folk rock band have taken influences of traditional celtic sound and pop songs structures to create a fusion album that is uniquely written.
The new album ‘Circus Boy’ is Doolin’s declaration of love for their region of France and hometown Toulouse. The band dedicated the album to those at home who miss them when they are away and for their many friends and newfound fans.

With such a clever mixture of sounds, the lyrical meaning behind the songs are not lost in the impressiveness of production and song structure. The lyrical writing creates a powerful and emotional appeal to listeners and in our opinion is Doolin’s best release yet.
The album covers topics of friendship and solidarity while also delving into deeper subjects such as the acknowledgement of a sometimes difficult world and the challenging times we have recently faced with the pandemic. In particular Doolin’ has included a necessary and heartfelt tribute to women.
